What's new in ClawDB

A running log of what shipped and why, oldest claims verified against what's actually in the codebase.

August 2026

Dark UI rebrand

  • Rebuilt the marketing site as dedicated, individually indexable pages instead of one long single-page scroll.
  • Redesigned the dashboard shell, navigation, and every core screen with a consistent dark visual language.
  • Added a hosted-or-local setup flow to the MCP product page, with support for more MCP clients.
July 2026

Instance provisioning fixes

  • Workspace instances now resolve auth, storage class, image, and networking correctly end to end.
  • Removed an instance NetworkPolicy that was silently blocking all real traffic.
  • Fixed the ClawDB agent ID to use the actual workspace ID instead of a synthetic slug.
July 2026

Database Studio, Branches, and Insights

  • Added Database Studio for creating and browsing typed memory stores from a template or an AI-drafted schema.
  • Added git-like memory branching: fork, merge, or discard a branch of workspace state.
  • Added Insights: contradiction detection, extracted facts, and preferences, driven by a reflection job queue.
  • Added object storage for binary and file memory alongside typed databases.
July 2026

MCP-native dashboard redesign

  • Rebuilt the customer dashboard around the Model Context Protocol gateway rather than generic cloud-services UI.
  • Removed the legacy billing and subscription surface as the product moved to a free, open-core model.
May 2026

Security and infrastructure hardening

  • Hardened input validation across all API request and response schemas.
  • Switched the web app to a static export for faster, more reliable global delivery.
  • Fixed the landing page to serve directly at the root path instead of redirecting.
